My dear brother Andrew,
You were such a sweet and innocent man,
you stayed above the turmoil of life
against your background of fear, neglect and isolation
you remained an enthusiastic soul
no more suffering -- the pain was too intense and horrifying
you left gently -- a smile resting on your lips
a peaceful countenance
you left us but we still have our memories
the golden haired boy
how wise you were to tolerate
the unfairness of life's travesties
thankful for any love and understanding
abandoned at institutions as a baby
those who knew you cared for you
a talented artist
you painted your heart out
a man of faith and deep spirituality
rising above a murky life with jokes and merriment
we love you Andrew
and know that your next life
will be equal to the sweet soul you are
