Andrew was an artist, an incredible man who endured pain and misfortune with an optimistic attitude. He was spiritually inclined and even contemplated becoming a Franciscan monk in his early 20s.

He was a dreamer and translated his sense of beauty in oils on canvas. He was a loyal son to his mother Betty and comforted her in her later years. He would accompany her on walks around Sydney and they loved to go on outings to see marching bands and graceful ice skaters together.

Even when life showed an unhappy face Andrew would rise above it and be optimistic. He was challenged by bad health, both physically and mentally, but his attitude was always upbeat.

He is survived by three siblings, two sisters Louise and Juanita and a brother, Will and six nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered for his impish smile and riotous sense of humor. Because of his attitude he was loved by his family and caretakers. With his passing there is a hole in the world of those who knew and loved him.
